Abstract

|
A case of intestinal tuberculosis with hemorrhagic inflammatory ulcers which was sucess-fully treated by surgical intervention is reported.
G. I. bleeding due to intestinal tuberculosis is a very rare disease.
With advent of chemotherapy and antibiotic agents, there have been decreasing reports throughomA the world. .
A case of G.I. bleeding due to small intestinal tuberculosis which was clinically diagnosed as a G.I. bleeding due to peptic ulcer is presented.
The diagnosis was made on the basis on the histological study of the operative specimen. Anti-tuberculous therapy gives prompt and dramatic effect. Tuberculosis of intestine is briefly reviewed from the literatures.
